Two enterprising mothers of young adults with disabilities had a dream to create a space where other young adults could be empowered and lead independent, equipped lives. Based out of Pune, they created “Youngistan” in December 2019, a platform which encapsulates the energy and dynamism of youth. Club Youngistan, a virtual space, evolved out of the pandemic in July 2020. Through its sessions and workshops, it has now expanded into a diverse group of young learners and facilitators nurturing and learning together.
To provide sustained learning opportunities and a platform for the young individuals creativity & mentoring towards their future through Club Youngistan sessions, Youngistan Galleria platform, Artistic Youngistan and Project Maitri.
We conduct a wide range of interesting, creative and educative sessions and workshops, keeping our focus on vocational and employability initiatives for our precious young adults.
Club Youngistan’s Champs also facilitate sessions based on their expertise in an empowering space where they teach, earn and become more skilled.
We celebrate our Club Youngistan Champs and their families and being together, be it festivals or fun workshops and our vibrant Champs Adda.
Project Maitri, a unique initiative, provides a space where a learner mentee is linked to a subject expert mentor, one-on-one, and can acquire more knowledge in the area of their choice.
Whatever Maybe your requirement – be it learning computers, languages or music – Just ask for it and we can connect you through this space.
We are on a journey of building networks with professionals in the field of disabilities and facilitators of our club who encourage and empower our young adults.
